These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RideForgeApp, a motorcycle route generation and navigation application for iOS (the "App") provided by mcmastersai, llc ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use the App. The App is designed for licensed motorcycle riders. By using the navigation features, you represent and warrant that you hold a valid motorcycle license and endorsement and are legally permitted to operate a motorcycle.
To use most features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
RideForgeApp uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate custom motorcycle routes based on your preferences and natural-language prompts. The App provides route previews, weather information, and turn-by-turn navigation powered by Mapbox.
The free tier allows you to generate three routes per month. Both "Forge My Ride" and "Quick Forge" requests that result in cache misses count toward this limit. Viewing cached routes, saved routes, route previews, and using navigation are always free and do not count toward the limit.
A Pro subscription provides unlimited route generation as well as access to crew and social features.
Motorcycling is inherently dangerous. RideForgeApp is a route suggestion and navigation tool — it is NOT a guarantee of road safety, road conditions, or route suitability for your motorcycle, skill level, or riding conditions.
Routes are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors. The App may suggest roads that are closed, unpaved, or otherwise unsuitable for your motorcycle or skill level. You are solely responsible for evaluating any route before and during your ride.
You must obey all traffic laws and posted signs at all times, even when they conflict with the App's navigation. Maintain situational awareness, exercise your own judgment, and pull over safely before interacting with the screen. Never rely solely on the App for navigation or safety decisions.
Weather information provided in the App is informational only. Conditions can change rapidly and may differ from what is shown. Always check current conditions before and during your ride.
By using the App, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of motorcycling, including the risk of serious injury or death. You understand that AI-generated routes are suggestions only. You assume full responsibility for your safety, you agree to independently verify road and weather conditions, and you agree that you will not ride while impaired.
We offer monthly and yearly subscription plans. Current prices are displayed on the paywall within the App.
Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Promotional codes are redeemed through Apple Offer Codes. They cannot be combined, resold, or redeemed for cash.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We may change subscription prices. Changes will take effect at the next billing period. Your continued use of the subscription after a price change constitutes your agreement to the new price.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the content you create and share. By posting content in shared areas of the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within those shared areas.
Content that is illegal, threatening, discriminatory, or sexually explicit will be removed. Repeat violators may have their accounts terminated.
You can report objectionable content through the in-app reporting tools or by emailing us.
The App, including its design, code, AI prompts, and brand elements (the name, wordmark, flame icon, and the "AI-Forged Rides for the Crew" tagline), is owned by mcmastersai, llc and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
Routes generated for you may be used for your personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not systematically collect or commercially exploit generated routes.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY ROUTE GENERATED BY THE APP.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, DATA LOSS, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless mcmastersai, llc from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to: your use of the App; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any law; content you post; and any injury, damage, or loss arising from riding routes generated by the App.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us first and to work in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for a period of 30 days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Consumer Arbitration Rules, with arbitration taking place in Pennsylvania.
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis only. You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action.
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for the infringement or misuse of intellectual property rights.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the App. You must cancel any active subscription separately through Apple.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time. If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rated refund where required by law.
The App relies on third-party services, including Supabase, Google Gemini, Mapbox, Google Directions, RevenueCat, OpenWeatherMap, and Apple. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and mcmastersai, llc regarding your use of the App.
These Terms are between you and mcmastersai, llc only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App is also governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdevstandard/.
RideForgeApp Ride Guardian Alerts is an SMS program that sends ride-safety notifications (ride start, safe arrival, missed check-in alerts) to emergency contacts designated by a RideForgeApp user. When a user adds you as an emergency contact, you receive a one-time message asking you to confirm. You must reply YES to opt in; no further messages are sent unless and until you reply YES.
